Delete your LyraRide Carpool account

You can delete your LyraRide Carpool account yourself, at any time. You do not need to contact us and there is no waiting period.
From inside the app (fastest)
- Open LyraRide Carpool and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Tap Settings.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Read the summary, then confirm. Your account is closed immediately.
If you cannot open the app
Email info@lyrakart.com from the email address on your account, or from any address if you registered with a phone number only, and include the mobile number you signed up with. We verify that the request comes from you and complete the deletion within 7 days.
What is deleted
- Your name, profile photo, bio, date of birth, gender and languages
- Your mobile number and email address
- Your saved places and emergency contacts
- Your vehicles and any verification documents you uploaded
- Your notification settings and any signed-in sessions on your devices
What happens to your trips
Any ride you had published, and any seat you had booked, is cancelled so that nobody is left waiting. Completed trips stay in the other members’ own history — the law and basic fairness require that they keep a record of a journey they actually took — but they are shown as taken with a “Deleted user” and are no longer connected to you or to any way of contacting you.
What we keep, and for how long

Deletion is permanent. You cannot sign back into a deleted account, and we cannot restore it. If you sign up again with the same mobile number you get a brand-new, empty account.
