Travel with people you can check first

Profiles, verification badges, reviews and an SOS button on every trip help you decide who to travel with and get help if you need it.

Verification badges

Members can verify their phone number, email, ID and driving licence. Verified members show a badge on their profile, so you can see it before you book.

Ratings and reviews

After a trip, travellers rate and review each other. Read reviews from other members on any profile before you travel.

In-app chat

Agree the pickup point and ask questions with the in-app chat, with your driver and your co-travellers.

SOS button

Every trip has an SOS button. When you press it and confirm, the app alerts our support team and shares your location.

Location only when you ask

Your location is not sent to the SOS service unless you press the button.

Help when you need it

Raise a support ticket from inside the app, or email info@lyrakart.com. You can also report a member from their profile.

SOS

One button, only when you need it

The SOS button is part of every trip. It asks you to confirm before it sends anything, so a stray tap does not raise an alarm.

  • Press and confirm to send an alert to our support team
  • Your location is shared with the alert, so we know where you are
  • Nothing is sent to the SOS service unless you press it

In an emergency, call 112 first. Then tell us, so we can help with anything related to the trip.

Tips

Tips for a good trip

  • Check the profile. Look at verification badges and reviews before you book.
  • Keep the conversation in the app. Use the in-app chat to agree the pickup point and time.
  • Meet in a public place. Choose a busy, well-lit pickup point.
  • Tell someone your plans. Let a friend or family member know your route and timing.
  • Agree the price in the app. The cost share is shown before you book, so there is nothing to negotiate.
  • Carry the right change. You pay the driver in cash.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, do not get in the car.
  • Leave an honest review. It helps the next traveller decide.
